The shape looks great. A way you might can hide the transition is to add some texture to it, like waves. I like to twist my hair up at night in a high bun (or multiple buns) and sleep on it. It adds a nice wave that can hide imperfections.

A (somewhat) better picture of what I got done with my hair. Took some length off, got side bangs, and got my hair dyed with the ombre technique. Didn’t end up with a smooth transition in colour as I was hoping to get, so I think it may be time for a new salon. Now I need to find some super easy hair styles to make the lack of transition in colour less noticeable (I am terribly pathetic with styling hair, I don’t even know how to braid =[ ).

Went to the salon today with my awesome boyfriend! :)

Update on Biggie

So my boyfriend and I found out Biggie developed Fatty Liver Disease. He is now on three different medications (one is taken three times a day, one is taken two times a day, and the other is taken once a day) and special wet food. I’m happy to say that he is eating again (he actually went for his dry food today), and the medication seems to be working. The skin on his ears and whites of his eyes are still a bit yellow, though he has only been on the medication for two and a half days.

Thank you to everyone who replied to my previous post, it helped me feel better about the situation. <3 I was just so worried because I’ve never been in this type of situation before, and this is the first time that Biggie has gotten ill.

So for the past three weeks my cat Biggie hasn’t been eating properly. He’s been barely eating his dry food, though he is eating his wet food and treats fine. My boyfriend and I even set up a camera at the food dish to check when he eats, and he hasn’t eaten for the past two days. We brought him to the vet today and got blood work and x-rays taken. The x-rays weren’t the clearest, but it looks like something is in his stomach. Also his blood work indicates elevated liver enzymes (the vet said liver issues can turn bad fast). I’m so worried about him, I’m trying not to cry here at work.

After a year and a half of not working, I decided one of my first purchases would be some upgrades for my computer. The last time I upgraded my computer was almost 4 years ago, so I figured it was about time I should do so.

Here’s a small list of what’s been upgraded:

Motherboard: Asus P5Q Turbo to an Asus P8Z77-V LK
CPU/Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 to an Intel Core i5-3570K
RAM/Memory: Corsair Dominator 4GB Kit to a Kingston HyperX Genesis 16GB Kit
Hard Drive: 600GB and 400GB to a Seagate Barracuda 2TB

And now to go back to installing everything. =]

It looks like that to me too, on all browsers. At least it’s not my PC that’s broken!

It’s the way the website layout is coded. It will only look right if you have the suggested resolution (1280 x 1024). My laptop doesn’t even have that big of a screen, it’s a rather odd way of designing a webpage..

This is bad practice for web design, since it is very unlikely people have their web browser fully maximized all the time (I certainly don’t). Also like allisasims already mentioned, not everyone has that resolution available to them. They should look into a responsive design so it is compatible with more resolutions.

Even more weirdness then, because I have that exact same resolution, and my browser’s maximised.

I really like this design, I hope they can fix it somehow.

If they wanted to make a quick fix for the site, they could use fixed widths rather than percentages. That way the right side of the page would stay put, rather than screw the page up if it’s not at the recommended resolution.

I just think the website should be re-written, because I can’t make sense of why they did a few things on there (like having the background image on a paragraph tag?).

In general, I just don’t like when a web page is only made for one size or one browser in mind, it’s just lazy.

Wisdom Tooth Recovery Woes

So I mentioned about two weeks ago I got my wisdom teeth removed. My recovery hasn’t been going so well and I feel like complete shit. First, I got a dry socket in the lower left hole in my mouth. Now there is an infection in the same location, so there is more pain and my left cheek is so swollen. It sucks because for the most part I have done everything that my dentist said (I did smoke some herbs which is why I got the dry socket and I accept that, though apparently being on birth control also increases the risk too. Other than that I have been doing the salt water rinses, carefully brushing my teeth, etc.). I’m waiting for a more appropriate time to call my dentist at home, since it is 9:40am where I live.

I’m just really upset right now and needed somewhere to vent, sorry for the non-sims related post.
