So I know my Sims 2 website has only been up for a few months, though I’ve been considering taking it down in order to use the website hosting funds towards more storage on a file hosting service (most likely SugarSync cause it’s been awesome so far).

What I’m trying to decide is where to have all of the custom content located. Should I move everything to Tumblr? Should I just go back to Dreamwidth/LiveJournal? I’m kind of leaning towards Tumblr because more simmers use it (also the posting process is smoother), but a good chunk of stuff is already available at my Dreamwidth/LiveJournal.

What are your thoughts lovely followers?

Anonymous whispered,
"let me love you! you are honestly the sweetest person. the links are all working now. thank you so, so much for taking the time to fix them!"

You’re very welcome Anon. And thank you for letting me know that the links are functioning. =]

Anonymous whispered,
"hi. i'm a huge fan of all the content you've created, and i was just visiting your dreamwidth account and several of the links to your defaults of other creators aren't working. i was just wondering if you still had any of the files still, namely CuriousB's Sugar Pie Honey Bunch Undies, Tantra's Texture Seperated by Jesstheex Top Recolours, and the adult and teen cardigans recolored by Simsarenotfood?"

First of all, I would like to say thank you Anon! You’re really sweet! It’s great to hear that you like the content that I’ve created. =D

I did check the Dreamwidth post you are referring to and noticed that the links are definitely not working. I am a bit busy this week, but I just wanted to let you know that I will be uploading the files to a different hosting website (most likely Dropbox) either during the weekend or sometime next week since I’ll be off from work. Sorry for the delay!

Cheers,

Aweeshie

I’ve updated the Dreamwidth post to add alternative links for the downloads (via Sugar Sync, which is quite awesome =D). Please let me know if there are any issues.

made a pastel palette (pastelette?) for myself in photoshop for fabric and plastic-type textures (clothes, bedding, floor tiles, stuff like that) and figured i would share!
i know a bunch of people have already made palettes like this in the past so advanced apologies if i’m just regurgitating shades that other people have already posted.

I thought it was time to upload the final part. There are a lot of defaults, but also object recolours and some AF clothes.

Go here.

Since I am not doing so great at the moment, I have also decided to close my thread at TBTO. Thanks to everyone who participated. You were a great help. :)

download!
credits: (deep breath) AlfredAskew, Anva, Azaya, Bosie, Helaene, DM(?), Enayla, Ephemera, FoxManiac, IcedMango, Kamikitten, Thesimssi2, Neena_Needles, RenSim, Simenroute, Teiken, Zakaritz, Zod.
ok, so, we have:
6 sets of freckles by other (cooler) people, edited to show better on darker skintones
6 face shine masks, toned down to look less oily
5 edited nose shapers
4 eyebag masks (including a super old one of mine that i never properly released)
2 edits of the maxis santa blush
2 black lipstick edits
2 waterlines (which azaya and i use on literally every sim but now i have edited them to layer better so if you already have one or both, get this version instead)
basically i have been trying to update my favorite face stuff to work on darker skintones so that is the primary theme here. and then i just threw in some extra stuff that was either too small for its own set or that never got a proper release/was only packaged with a sim. so some stuff is waaaay at the back of the catalog, just fyi. also, some masks look really silly on super pale sims (same deal as these blushes). you have been warned!
credits are (should be?) in the file names and tool tips, sorry i don’t have links to all the creators. double sorry this preview is so criminally lazy.
